GAO Appoints CO-OP Program Advisory Board
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has appointed 15 members to the Advisory Board for the Consumer Operated and Oriented Plan (CO-OP) Program. The CO-OP Program, established by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, will make grants and loans to create nonprofit, member-run health insurers serving the individual and small-group markets.
